The Gbarnga Lutheran Mission Project started out as just an idea. It is slowly evolving into more than that. The congregation and people of the LC-MS New England District are participating in an anonymous $10,000 matching-funds donation. With your help we can give so many children the opportunity to attend school and hear the Good News about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

We invite you to host a member (or two!) from St. Paul's Lutheran Church, our founding church family. There are many Liberians in the congregation and on the Gbarnga Lutheran Mission Project leadership team, such as Maggie Baysah and her daughter Sando, who have been blessed to have escaped the atrocities of the civil war and settled in Providence, RI. Sando attended school in Providence and soon went on to various Ivy League schools to complete her medical education. She is currently completing her residency at Children's Hospital In Philadelphia. Along with her mother, they have come to know the importance of education having immigrated from Liberia years ago. This project is very dear to their hearts. With your invitation, our team members are available to present our project to you through images, personal stories, and updates about children's lives in Liberia today. Thank you for your consideration!
